Steering Life

where you going?

“The wheels of life go round only to end up same. Life throws dirt amidst confusion yet strives for familiar as we arrive life’s endless rotations. Our wheels roll along only to expel life’s air flattens to stop the roll. We live never checking our ability to keep the wheels going without breaking. Our minds wander on roads of treacherous only to end up back where originated. Starting the engine of ones own life is without effort, maintaining the drive is what breaks down in nowhere. Only can we go to our place when mind grab life’s steering wheel and thoughtful action exists.”

Car Therapy

I have the perfect remedy for when you are down mentally and physically…Car Therapy!

I’ve been a bit under the weather this week, mentally. Diabetes and it’s side-effects can do that. Not only the idea of taking insulin but the physical problems from the disease takes a huge toll. Mentally and physically.

I have severe Diabetic Neuropathy in my feet and legs. The pain never rests. It isn’t just a toe or heel but both feet have 100% nerve damage. Pain.

I’ve been on every pain medication OTC and prescription but nothing works. Doctors have even suggested morphine but I would rather deal with the pain than live like a zombie. I don’t play well with meds. Never did.

Not only that but my profession involves steady handiwork so narcotics are out.

So, this week has been tough but yesterday I got some therapy. Not just regular therapy but Car Therapy.

Because 99% of the vehicles on the road look the same, share the same platform, and have no visible differences other than it’s driver which is arguable. Continue reading

The Car Guy Manifesto

Ah, yes, the life of the wild and crazy car guy. Most of us were born this way. Rebelling against society, doing bad things to our rides, trying to prove a point that we aren’t exactly like everyone else on the planet. It’s a tough gig. But lot’s of fun.

Fortunately for me I was born into this culture. A culture with millions of enthusiasts and even a few deviants. My upbringing was more on the deviant side.

Art that Moves You
